Nature Music.
Nature Sound × Relaxation.
Concept
K-MUSICLIFE is NETLABEL that has been distributing "Nature Music" since 1999 by Yuta Konishi mixing nature sound and relaxation music.
Close your eyes and listen to the sound of nature.
What kind of scenery will be spread in front of you then? The sky over which clouds flow. The mountains are overflowing with greenery. A clear ocean.
I think the sound of nature plays a big role in making such natural scenery beautiful. To make the world beyond the sounds of nature beautiful, K-MUSICLIFE continues to deliver natural sounds and create music.
Nature is the Origin of All of Beauty.

Artist
Nature Sound Artist / Composer
A composer in the field of relaxation music, mixing natural sounds and musical instruments. He creates impressive soundscapes using field recordings, synthesizers, and the raw textures of the natural world.
Especially known for music that involves the flow of water — his field recordings captured across Japan have reached listeners worldwide through streaming platforms.
Music inspired by natural landscapes, designed for Yoga, Aromatherapy, and moments where deep relaxation is essential.
His love for music began in middle school, when he picked up the guitar inspired by MR.BIG and Steve Vai. Yet somewhere along the way in high school, he found himself captivated by a completely different world — healing music and chillout soundscapes. He began composing his own music, and driven by a desire to share it with as many people as possible, he founded the netlabel "K-MUSICLIFE" and launched its website in 1999.

Driven by a deep obsession with capturing the purest sounds of nature, Yuta developed his own binaural microphone — a custom-built device combining silicone-molded human ears with precision condenser microphone capsules. This handcrafted setup enables stunningly realistic 3D audio recordings that place the listener right in the heart of the natural landscape.
His nature sound recordings on YouTube, captured with this unique microphone, garnered significant attention and became widely talked about in the community. The distinctive quality of his binaural recordings even caught the eye of Japan's national broadcaster NHK, leading to featured coverage of his work and recording techniques.

Yuta's journey in digital music production stretches back to the early 2000s, when he composed and arranged tracks using Steinberg Cubase SX2 on Windows XP. Those early sessions laid the foundation for his signature sound — blending synthesized textures with raw field recordings of nature.
Today, all production has moved to Apple's Logic Pro, where he continues to craft immersive soundscapes using a combination of software synthesizers, sampled instruments, and his own nature recordings.

Not content with releasing music alone, Yuta began exploring video distribution in the early 2000s — long before YouTube even existed. Using RealPlayer and ASF (Advanced Streaming Format), he paired his original music with visuals and streamed them online. In those days, platforms like MySpace and the Japanese music community Muzie served the role that YouTube would later fulfill, giving independent artists a space to share their work with the world.

YouTube NextUp 2012 — Tokyo
When YouTube emerged in the mid-2000s, Yuta launched the K-MUSICLIFE channel — at a time when the platform didn't even support Japanese. He began uploading nature sounds and his own compositions, building an audience from the ground up. The channel, still active today as "K-MUSICLIFE Channel," gained significant international attention between 2012 and 2015. In recognition of his work, Yuta was selected for Google NextUp 2012, a prestigious global program designed to support the next generation of YouTube creators.
During this period, Yuta produced and released a series of music albums that defined the K-MUSICLIFE sound. In 2006, he debuted with "In Mind," followed by "Water Place" in 2011 and "Nature Flow" in 2017. All three albums remain available today on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and other major streaming platforms.
